I am compiling a list of doctors who prescribe spironolactone for acne. If you have received a spironolactone prescription, PLEASE share their name and the state/province they are located in.
The only reason I was able to get spironolactone prescribed is because I happened to know someone already on it and went to their doctor. We really need to get the information out there so it is not such a struggle.

Thank GOD for her. she's been so liberal and open with my treatment. Went in prepared and asked for it. I am only on 50 mg and Yasmin together, but am ok with the low dose. Yasmin cleared me up about 90-95% before so hoping the two together will really do the trick.
I came across this forum because I am looking for a derm in the Houston, Texas area who will prescribe. I went on accutane and it helped temporarily but my very clearly hormonal acne is now back in full force and the derm I had said he hadn't even heard of prescribing spiro for acne (he's pretty old school). I do happen to know that a friend was prescribed spiro at K Street Dermatology in Washington DC.

My acne were poorly managed by GP until I saw Dr Larissa Miller who prescribed spironolactone, tretionine cream and done PRP injections into old acne cysts. The clinic is in Melbourne.
