I've been meaning to get on the prescription skincare hype for a while but I'm undecided about hydroquinone. Could it exacerbate my acne? I get pretty horrible hormonal breakouts and benzoyl peroxide hasn't helped. Tretinoin helped my sister like nothing else ever had. I'd like to add hydroquinone to lighten sun spots if it wouldn't work against it?
Hydroquinone itself I don't believe is comedogenic, but you never know what other ingredients are in a product. Feel free to cut and paste ingredients here and I can have a look for you if you'd like.
Also, you said benzoyl peroxide hasn't worked for you? Have you tried it within The Regimen? Usually I can get pretty much anybody clear if they follow it precisely.
