Treating Outbreaks without Getting Scars

Hi all,

I'm 28, and growing up I had pretty severe acne which I treated with roaccutane.
Anyway, I am frustrated with the fact that pretty much anytime I have a new outbreak it results in a new scar. I take good care of my face (washing it everyday) and I take good care of outbreaks (using medically prescribed products).
So why, why, nothing pretty much works whenever I have a new outbreak?

what can I do in order to ensure that I treat my acne properly without getting a scar, given that I have been using medically prescribed products, not just some random OTC product that might or might not suit my skin type ?

Please advise.

thank you !

Scarring is the result of genetics more than anything, but I did as much research as I could to find the things you can try to prevent it as much as you can.

And as always, most important is to not get acne in the first place.
