Pimple turned cold sore?

For reference - this was a blackhead along the lip line that I decided to pop. And I went hard popping it. So I basically have my answer. But I nagged at it so badly it turned into this. Could it now be a cold sore? I'm so worried

While it could be, it just looks like you've torn and abraded skin around the area. What are you applying on it?

Looks like you just went too hard on it. Leave this alone. Don't pick at it at all. It looks too late to do much other than leave it alone. You can always take some omega-3 to help with healing though and eat healthy and well until it's healed to reduce inflammation.

It could only be a cold sore if you have HSV - if you do its possible that the trauma from popping it may have caused a cold sore to form, but I dont think it would form directly where the pimple was so its fairly safe to say its just healing up
