Large hardened bumps

Ok so here's my issue:

I used to have a lot of issues with acne and ingrown hairs when I was younger (I'm 26 now). Around the age of 23 I began noticing my face was finally starting to clear up. Other than a few random small pimples, small rare blackheads on and around my nose and some minor ingrown hairs, My skin has been pretty clear for the last few years and I have been so grateful. I think I mostly grew out of it and figured out how to treat my skin better.

Part of my problem when I was younger is I had no idea what was or wasn't helping my face and I would shave with a razor daily causing a lot of damage. Now I use an electric trimmer and rarely do a close shave.

My issue now is: I have recently gotten (one at a time) these large severe blemishes around my chin/jawline.

I have what looks like a permanent scar that feels hardened underneath my skin in two places right near each other. My biggest concern is it is very clear something is wrong, because now no facial hair will grow over it and leaves a very noticeable reddish spot. I have two of these, the second one is finally healing and was painful to touch. They also don't really pop like typical pimples. I don't know what these are, as I have had many ingrown hairs before and these seem to be sticking around for weeks and weeks on end even after it feels like it is healed. Now I have a THIRD hardened red bump right under my lip and it is extremely painful, I can even feel it on the inside of my mouth when I push my tongue against my gums. I know, gross. I am wondering if this is just a severe ingrown hair or something I have never dealt with before like cysts.

Has any one had anything similar and did you identify what it was and what was causing it? My biggest fear is having more of these pop up and permanently ruin my facial hair that used to come in full no matter what. Now I have empty patches. Thanks in advance for any advice/replies.
