I am 14 years old female. My acne is moderate to severe, on my face, back, and chest.
Until now I have been using Cetaphil + Benzoyl Peroxide but it hasn't really worked well. Also tried Salicylic Acid with similar results.
Doctor gave me this regimen today. Do you think it's TOO MUCH?!
Morning
- Salicylic acid soap - wash, everywhere
- Clindamycin lotion (toner) - spread with cotton, everywhere
- Niacinamide - apply thinly, face only
- Benzoyl Peroxide 5% - pimples only
Evening
- Doxycycline 100 mg, 1 capsule after dinner, 30 days
- Alternate between Salicylic acid soap & ph 5.5 - wash everywhere
- Clindamycin lotion (toner) - spread with cotton, everywhere
- Klingmans cream (Tretinoin & Fluocinolone) - apply thinly, face only
- Avene Trixera nutri-fluid balm (moisturizer) - face only
Wow, that's a lot and sounds expensive. The regimen is here for you if that doesn't work. I know for sure the regimen works.

Yes, about $125. Not sure how long the products will last.
Is this the regimen you linked to?
1. Acne.org Cleanser
2. Acne.org Treatment (Benzoyl Peroxide - 2.5%)
3. Acne.org Moisturizer
This is what I've been doing and it hasn't worked at all.
Have you followed the regimen precisely? It almost always flat out works when it's followed precisely. But following it doesn't just mean using the products. It means using them in an exact way with an exact amount and stuff.
If it's not working, I'd make sure you get your hormones checked too. You want to rule out a hormonal disease like PCOS. That's usually the only reason the regimen won't work if it's followed precisely is if there's an underlying hormonal issue going on.
