so a few weeks ago, i started getting lots of pimples and it only concentrated on my mouth/chin area. i dont know what™s triggering it bc i havent done anything to change my eating habits, sleep schedule etc.. ive tried using the cerave facial cleanser along with the moisturizer and retinoid prescribed by my dermatologist but nothing seems to be working. I wake up every morning with a new pimple. ive also tried using the Neutrogena pink grapefruit scrub but nada.

i keep telling my mom to let me buy rose water and a toner since ive seen it works but she always says that it™s all in my head, that im just buying unimportant things, and that i just needed to drink smh i can never get any support but oh well

does anyone know what else i can try to fix this? literally everywhere else on my face is clear

Khelanis

This looks like fungal acne and/or gram negative acne. it is NOT NOT NOT in your head, and diet on its own will NOT fix it.

Both these types of acne are caused by taking antibiotics and some other meds. (prescription drugs).

If you get back to me with answers to the questions below, I can provide information that will likely solve the problem.

Do you have one or more of the following - white tongue, dandruff, flaking skin, toenail fungus, itchy skin, red rashes, sinus problems, gut problems, unexplained tiredness, "brain fog" or headaches.

Have you taken antibiotics or any other meds ??? If yu have taken antibiotics, which antibiotics have you taken ?

I look forward to hearing back from you.
