28 male

I've had on-going acne problems my whole life. The type of pimples I always get are massive whiteheads, sometimes 2 or 3 mini ones instead.

How can I limit the size of these? I can almost immediately tell when they are forming, before there even is a head. I've used BP and salycic acid with no lunch. Am I perhaps not using it correctly? Should I apply every hour? 3 times a day only as instructed? What else can I try and what is the cause of these?

You might have candida or malasezzia outbreak/s not ordinary acne. Candida and malasezzia, which are fungi, cause symptoms which are similar to acne.

Have you taken antibiotics (antibiotics cause outbreaks of candida and malasezzia). Do you have a white tongue ? Do you have dandruff ? If you get back to me with answers to these questions, I can provide some information that could/should control the problem that you have.

its hard to say because were all different but in my experience, in the past i would constantly havewhiteheads/infections around the crease of my nose and chin,i found out it was caused by using the wrong type of soap and products on my face.

after switching to a minimal type of regiment - not over washing, no harsh soaps or creams, my skin calmed down greatly.

(some foods/drinks can make acne worse like milk for example)

some basic things you can try -

vitamins for acne (google it)

try a sensative SLS free soap

dont wash your face more than 2 times a day.

try a product which will kill off the bad bacteria from your skin, like tea tree oil.
