Hey guys, I have serious questions.

I started usingtretinoin 0.05% a week ago, and my skin is drying like CRAZY! It started to harden (like layers of dead skin crust that doesnt peel at all)at some places. My question is: knowing that my skin is super oily, should I use a drying cleanser before and after usingtretinoin or should I go for a moisturizing cleanser to avoid the massive dryness and hardening?

I don't think you should be cleansing straight after tretinoin. Don't you usually apply that once a day before bed, after cleansing? I think you should use a noncomedogenic moisturiser after cleansing in the morning and a couple minutes after tretinoin. For me I thought moisturising was making the skin flaking worse but after a couple weeks of consistent moisturising my skin got much better.
