In my experience with Retin-A, 3 months is not a long time for your skin to adjust. I broke out too when I started using it. Unless it gives you other undesirable side effects, you could try to push through it.
Otherwise, consult with a dermatologist for other options. You scars don't look to deep in the pictures, so peels, resurfacing lasers, etc. are all options. You need an expert advice to choose the best treatment for your needs.
Agreed with the post above - unfortunately sometimes 4-6 months is needed for a noticeable improvement. Took me 5 months to see if a really drastic improvement with my regimen.

When I first got on it I never experienced a purge so I'm gonna see if I can switch to the gel because I felt like the cream was clogging my pores
