Hard to say if it's severe or not.. How long have you had acne? What is your current regimen? Accutane would be my absolute last resort...so I'd be interested to see what you're using currently and maybe you can adjust it for better results.

I agree with the above poster that accutane should probably be your last resort. From your pictures, your acne looks mild moderate and non cystic. As for scarring, you may have acne marks (PIH) that will fade in time but i'm not sure you will have actual scars that burrow deep into the skin. What have you already tried?
