Hey for anyone who has had a cortisone shot, how long did it take for your bump to go down? I've read on here people say 24 hrs but my derm told me 1 week. I had my first one today as I had a large cyst. I'll update how it goes for me as I like to read when people update their posts since it helps a lot of people who browse around.

my background:
-had a large cyst form on my lower right cheek /jaw line 2 weeks ago.
-Became noticeable about a week in (like the size of a quarter). Felt like a blister underneath the skin.
-got antibiotics a week in from Dr. Did shit all
- 2 weeks later (today) got cortisone shot

24 hr update: bump has gone down. It's a flatter bump and I can still feel it but a lot less than before. Dr said redness wouldn't fade but for me it has. Still red but definitely not as red.

48 hr update: bump has has completely flattened..the edges of where the bump are SLIGHTLY raised. But really it's like nothing. I'm amazed;D. I only wish I've done this before when I used to break out more before since now I rarely do. Just a few tiny ones here and there and then for some reason recently this massive cyst.
