You shouldnt pick your acne - it causes it to scar.

Icing it for about 30 min - an hour should help the swelling and keep putting on aloe vera gel.

What I do is put more of a thin layer of aloe gel all over my face and let it dry before I put on makeup, but while you are not wearing makeup keep reapplying aloe

my swelling has gone down drastically due to a medication my doctor prescribed- hydrocortisone cream 2.5%
