This exact same thing happened to me during summer! On my face. I think this happens because of the heat as well. I went to an esthetician and did 4 salicylic acid peels with a 2 week interval and also used the Obagi nu derm system + retinol 0.5% this seemed to make it go away. It did make my skin worse before better though. I think this may work for you but they are all very pricey and they are not covered by insurance.

I have the same exact problem with those bumps. How long did it take them to go away with the retinol 0.5%?
