When I was in my teens I had really clear skin and I get compliments all the time. But when I became 19, my skin suddenly freaked out uncontrollably. I also had H. pylori and digestive issues lately. My acne is mainly on my forehead and there are some bumps on my cheeks. Can anyone help me? I feel so depressed and I avoid going out with my friends anymore. I don't even dare look at my face in the mirror. Sometimes I cry myself to sleep...
Can someone tell me what type of acne I'm having and what must I do? I feel not confident anymore. Someone Please help me... :(

doesnt antibiotics strip the gut of good bacteria and cause acne in the future?

PeachCress,  i would first try and identify what type of acne you have. there is different types of acne and each has its own treatment (sometimes people suffer from skin problems which look like acne are not). then do a forum search here or on google for treatments.

im not a doctor but is  H.pylori  a type of  infection? i dont know if its true but ive read about stomach issues causing acne - you might want to research it.

@PeachCress Truth is when we were babies, we all had perfect skin.

I too had massive cystic zits in my adolescence coupled with very bad stomach problem. The source of the problem rested not with either zit or the stomach. It was in my head. I kept obsessing about my zits, which was very STRESSFUL. Yes, the problem was stress. Once I stopped stressing myself out, the whole thing started to unravel.

Stop looking at yourself in the mirror. Quit obsessing about Kim Kardashian and their ilks. Stop making comparisons between you and others.

Eat healthy foods and cut down on sugar-intake (especially carbonated beverages). Some dairy, like yogurt, is good but cheese and too much milk is not.

Lastly, don't apply so much crap on your face. I suggest you wash your face with just water twice a day. If you're a female, use very light makeup just to cover the acne. The point is that our skin needs to breath in order to maintain its health and longevity.
