I get these red spots on my face all the time.  They sometimes form a white head, but majority of the time they just stay on my face and don't do anything, taking weeks before they start to dull and months before the marks are gone.  Any ideas how to speed up the process?

I had moderate acne and have been put on lymecycline tablets, don't want it going back to what it was. I haven't picked these either.
