Since I started taking a generic brand of Sildenafil (Assurance) my acne started to get worse. It is really strange as acne is not reported as a possible side effect of Sildenafil. I have been taking Assurance for 2 months. Did anyone experience acne worsening if taking similar drugs? it might be not Sildenafil that causes the worsening....Thanks in advance
Sildenafil itself shouldn't be causing any acne since it does not influence any hormones and acne is a hormone driven phenomenon. But its can certainly have interactions with other medications that could perhaps be causing the acne. Some birth control pills can cause breakouts of acne however I'm not sure how common they are.
