You have really mild acne so I'd think a good routine would help your skin a lot. I personally don't think antibiotics are the way to treat acne because it can kill off good bacteria in your gut which could cause other issues down the line, but that's just my opinion. Are you using any topicals/do you have a face routine?
To be honest it doesn't even look like you have many pimples on your face. It just looks like you have lots of redness that comes with the little pimples. I would just moisturize a good amount. Lubridurm for extra dry skin works really well or even any moisturizer that won't irritate your skin. I also would just wash your face with a topical treatment once a day, I wouldn't go overboard on washing though.

I'm using acne prone moisturizer during the night and just rinsing my face in the morning and afternoon but the redness is very persistent

I would recommend getting a gentle cleanser (like cetaphil or the one i use which is 'yes to cucumber gentle cleanser') and cleansing in the morning and before bed and then moisturizing. I always spot treat my pimples with tea tree oil after putting on moisturizer before bed. If you're using a moisturizer that has salicylic acid in it or benzoyl peroxide that could be contributing to any redness if your skin is sensitive.
