Hey guys im fairley new on here but i do read alot if your posts. So just to begin with i never had spots through out school i had flawless skin then i developed anorexia and i was doing all these stupid diets at college i.e. The chocolate diet. I used to consume those one pound chocolate bars and lots of fizzy drinks. And then i broke out for the very first time it was horrendous i literally had a pizza face fortunatley for me BP and the oxytetracycline combo worked and they went away. Then after i graduated uni i started eating loads and loads of sugars again it was then i figured it must b sugar thats causing my acne. So seeing as its ramadan this month i cut sugars completely and i swear my skin has cleared up so much im no longer isolating myself as much as before and i can go to work not worrying people are staring at my. spots. So when i say fasting cured ne this doesnt mean you stop eating food and just drinking water. Cut out the sugars from your diet and see what happens. I was ment to go on roaccutane on tuesday but i doubt my derm will put me on it now becuase my back is clear and so is my chest on a little left on my face. i hope this helps all those who are struggling with acne out there
