Hey how long would benzoyl peroxide take to work on my acne? The acne is centered around my cheeks and have been there more than 2 years. I started to use the products below for 3 days. I was wondering how many weeks or months would it take to see a noticable difference and do you guys have other suggestions. I am a 16 year old girl btw.
When buying products for acne it is important to look at the active ingredient(s) in the cream or face wash. A couple of the creams you have appear to have 10% benzoyl peroxide which is a great active ingredient, but such a high concentration that it might irritate your skin. Next time look for a lower concentration of bp, like 2.5%. You can see improvements in a week to a month I think.
Anyway, those creams and face washes for acne never completely cured me of my acne. If you've have persistent acne for 2 years then I recommend seeing a skin doctor.
