No matter how gentle i wash my face, some pimples pop. I know that popping pimples can lead to scarring and this leaves me with scars because i cant control it, i try my best to wash gently, WITH MY HANDS ONLY. all i get is whiteheads too. :/

you could always pop your spots the correct way to reduce the chances of scaring?

I think that if a pimple is ready to pop and your being very gentle with washing then its ok. Its when you start to apply pressure to popping a pimple that its more likely to scar.

no, im not saying you must pop your spots.. im only saying from what ive read online & seen on youtube, there is a correct way to pop a spot to minimizethe risk of scaring.

no not really.
in my experience you cant stop red marks (often called "post acne marks"), its just apart of acne. - they fade but it takes time.

ahh okay. well is there a way to avoid them or lighten them up to your original pigment?
