Okay so I have been looking but I can't find anything directly answering my questions. ;-; so I'm going to a concert in 3 days and I have this, I guess, normal sized pimple. Not really small but not crazy big like some cystic acne. Its semi close to the corner of my mouth and is sore to the touch and if i move my mouth. It has a small white head but Im not sure if I should pop it or not. It appeared today and since its sore I think I should just leave it. I've been using my astringent with staylic acid and putting 5% bp on it. Is there anything else I should/could do to fix it and flatten it quickly? Should i wait to pop it or try and let it happen naturally? Also any tips/products that work well and are inexpensive for acne scars and preventing acne? Thanks in advancd and sorry for the long post T^T

Try sea salt water. Just mix some sea salt with warm water and pat it on and leave it overnight. I find that it dries pimples out pretty quickly.

i always found removing pus from a spot makes it heal faster.. and maybe a small amount of BP cream would "kill" it. but safe to say you would have a red mark for a week.

Cool I'll try it! I also saw someone mixing it with olive oil. Have you tried this and if so, which one worked better?

I wouldn't touch it if I was you.

I don't use olive oil so I don't know if that works or not. Sea salt might not work but it does help many. Worth a try as it's only cheap.

Whenever I want to shrink a pimple, make it go away fast, and it's tender to the touch, I ice it by wrapping an ice cube with a paper towel and placing it on the zit for a while. It also tends to relieve the pain. I'm sure this isn't the case for everyone, but it works for me.

I wouldn't recommend popping it, as it leads to scarring. It's best to let it heal on its own. If you do pop it, though, make sure to clean your hands and clean your face extremely well after. Hope you have fun at the concert!
