This looks like a standard wound, not a scar. Are you putting triple antibiotic or vaseline on it? Do not pick it let it fall off naturally. You can do this at night if you need to go out during the day. Do white vinegar (diluted) soaks by patting it to kill the bacteria daily. Jeez will I get a nasty scar from this wound mark? Anyways I did apply vaseline on it.

Keep it moist, do not pick and let it fall off, don't want it indented or worse. Even after there will be some red. Follow in my signature below the faq link (give it a few weeks) the skin section and PIE. This is natural after a cyst or zit. A lot of that is probably lymph liquid which is part of healing.

Many say honey and aloe vera also are good and allows spots to heal.
