I've tried sooo many different treatments over the past five years and nothing has worked or even come close to working. I'm trying to get my mom to take me to the gynecologist so I can get birth control, but she said she thinks that might be too much. I hear the pill helps acne a lot. Can anyone give me a success story ?

Yes, certain birth control pills can absolutely help with acne, but obviously they work by messing with hormones.

When you say you've tried many treatments, which one's exactly have you've tried?

yes they do help a lot. I've been on birth control for 3 months now, but it takes around 6 konths up to a year to have the complete effect
