Depending on what treatments you have tried before, don't be surprised your dermatologist offers you other things before resorting to accutane. But also remember that you don't have to accept any of them, just make sure to have a good heart to heart with your derm, and leave them in no doubt as to how you are really feeling.

Accutane is not without it's risks, but it can work miracles. I hope you get the answer and the result you want.
