Ok so I've had this small cystic pimple on my cheek for two weeks. It's only maybe a cm now but it's definitely a cyst. The skin on it has gotten really thin and it's gotten a lot smaller, but it's STILL THERE AHH and it's been the same size for a week now. Should I lance it and drain it or just let it be? It's really annoying me, but I've done so well leaving it alone. I had a similar one before that burst on its own and now it's barely even a mark so I'm conflicted:/.
Oh no, don't pop it. I know it's tempting. Cysts are more like an infection that affects the pores around it and if you squeeze it, it can make it worse. Keep up with any treatments you're using on it. The thing that helps me most with cysts is making sure I'm drinking plenty of water, cutting out caffeine and sugar, limiting or excluding dairy and grains and taking lots of vitamins. Your skin needs to heal it from the inside.
