Hi, I have a pimple on my nose and at first i thought it was a mosquito bite but then it hurt and it had pus in it. I popped it many times and the pus came out( i learned my lesson probably not a good idea) but its been a month and it hasn't gotten that much smaller or healed. It hasn't hurt for a while and it seems to be getting smaller? But its been a month and basically school sucks because people can see it and makeup doesnt cover it well. There hasnt been pus in there for a while but its starting to turn brownish? Does that mean its turning into a mole or something? Because its on the very tip of my nose means its a very pressing issue to me.
Ok I don't mean to sound mean or something but take a look around. There are people with much worse cases than you. Your pimple may go in like a week or two and you'll have picture perfect skin but its not like that for us. We have to suffer because of acne, we get teased everyday and its not for a week or 2, ITS LIKE THAT for YEARS until god-know-when our acne goes! We be driving around like crazy trying all acne treatments ever invented to fix our oatmeal like skin and you be there fussing over that ONE PIMPLE?! I don't expect you tounderstand this but all of us are having a much harder time than you are. Honestly just o the site. You don't belong here! Oh and to make it sound less harsh ROFLMAO!
Hey there, sorry to hear about your issue...it's hard for anyone to guess at what's going on with that sore with no visuals....probably best to see your doctor if it's looking worse after a month to get a professional assessment of whether you need some antibiotics oral/topical...putting makeup on it may not be helping the healing process.
The brown colour you mentioned may just be the start of scab formation and purple colour is often bruising coming to the surface which will dissipate but if you don't feel like it's normal you'll feel more at ease after seeing a professional 🙂

Yes, can you provide a pic so we can see what's going on? Then we can see how best to help you. Sounds like it may be a cyst. They're painful, can get quite large, and can take forever to heal.
Cysts are not uncommon. We've all had them and can sympathize! They're no fun! But depending on the size, how long you've had it, if it gets bigger or worse instead of better, it might not hurt to have it checked out.
^Good decision. And yes, turning brown is likely a sign of healing, deep acne turns that color.
I had something that lasted like this for a long time, didn't hurt but was very noticeable.
Its gone now and I never even went to a Derk. Never freak out, calm down and think. Then ask a knowledgeable person, wether it be Acne.org, your parents, or in he best case a derm.
Good luck.
My wife has had a couple of minor faciallesions removed by her GP just with a local anaesthetic....don't know if your General practise doctor might do minor surgeries there but just thought you might appreciate the reassurance that this kind of surgery can be fairly straightforward...would be easy for your derm... Ask what the cost would be. Perhaps you can get a second opinion from another doctor...good luck
