Hey

i am 25 M

i have acne for long now and preciously cleared using accutane and certain antibiotics. Its been 3 years now after they cleared, i moved to US just like 2 months ago and acne broke out on chin and jaw line near lips just now and growing bad ever since.

i am new and just migrated to US recently and had this breakout after a month? Can it be regional? or type of food/oil i changed? I never had acne around lips before?

Please help me identify the type of acne and also suggest what to do. I cant basically afford a derm yet :( i have tried benzoyl but skin is allergic, turns red within 3 hrs and used sme soaps like dettol, cetafil, nuetrogena but did not help and growing more everyday.

turn out like this now

You make any changes to your shaving routine? It seems concentrated on areas where you have facial hair. What shaving products are you using?

I just shaved today to see how acne are, did not shave much on acne areas so they are not harmed. I use Philips trimmer usually.

Moving itself is VERY stressful so that could be what triggered your breakouts. Since you cannot use BP and cannot afford a derm at this time, try to attack things from the nutritional front. Practice stress relief (exercise, yoga, meditation), cut out dairy and gluten as well as processed foods and sugar.

It's tough having to start over again but take one step at a time.

Thank you, i am cutting down on nutritions. I may help, Oral medication never helped me. So i will plan on a visit to derm, Does starting antibiotics again or taking accutane help ? after being on it for an year before ?
