Hi I was wondering if these are red marks or scars, and if i just leave them as they be will they fade overtime? Should I stay away from the sun? What can I do to reduce redness on my cheeks? Also would you also recommend to never squeeze a pimple or blackhead again because this is how I got them Some girl told me to get AHA acid, would you recommend it? Walgreens probably has it. Ive been scrubbing my face with sugar and trying to exfoliate frequently to get rid of these spots. Ive tried using ambi fade cream but it ended up making my spots very very red. Will drinking a lot of water help? Please answer anything helps
Bro your skin looks so good and you dont even know it. It looks like you have some post inflammatory erythema, which is the redness left after a pimple. It could take a few weeks to a few months to completely heal and fade away. An AHA like salicylic acid could help a little and it is found in a lot of cleansers as an acne fighting ingredient, so that could be a good product to try. I would honestly just go with that and time will do the rest. The skin is red because it is healing after that inflamed pimple, so you have to be kind and gentle with the skin, dont scrub too hard to exfoliate.
