Im new and confused. Ive been following the regime, almost exactly. Except, I use Cetaphil cleanser instead of Dan's cleanser. But besides that, its been 3 weeks and I did not skimp on the BP. I lather it on twice a day, AND I use AHA almost everyday and I have absolutely NO reaction. No redness, no itchiness, no dryness, (my skin is naturally oily). NOTHING. It's like i am just applying water, shouldn't i feel something???
Hey...that's only a good thing! Not everybody is sensitive to BP. I used it for years and I rarely had anything bit a bit of dryness. Some of us either have thicker skin or better skin barriers...just count it lucky 
I think oily skin is generally more able to tolerate topicals than dry.
