Hi Everyone,

First of all, many thanks to Alyssa Forever for shedding light on acne skin routines  that worked for her, and for bringing me over to this site through her social media profiles.

I first started breaking out at the age of 16. I have been struggling with acne since, and I'm about a month away from turning 22. I've made countless visits to different dermatologists. I have used clindamycin, benzoyl peroxide, antibiotic pills, tretnoin, many over the counter products, and nothing has made a tremendous difference. Between 18-20, I suffered with major cystic acne, and got comfortable with getting them injected during regular visits to the dermatologist.

For the past year, I've gotten comfortable with DIY Acne control remedies, and over the counter products. Going to the dermatologists regularly for 3.5 years didn't do much for me, and I just started experimenting with what's available.

Right now, I don't breakout as often as I used to. Granted, I'm away from home in New York City, and where I am now -- Vermont, is relatively cleaner. However, when I go home, I do breakout more. I have scars, and I don't get cystic acne as much anymore.

My skincare routine is as follows: Neutrogena Ultra Sensitive Wash Twice a day + I Moisturize twice using the "Est©e Lauder Oil Controling Gel Am/Pm." I use "Aztec Clay + apple cider vinegar + water" mixture as a mask every so often. Sometimes, when I breakout, I use a benozyl peroxide wash every other day on the affected areas. Furthermore, I suffer from eczema, and have sensitive skin. I can't tolerate products that dry you out.

i would appreciate it if someone could give me advice on what kinds of products I should be using, and/or direct me to a consultancy forum. Thank you for taking the time out to read this, a rather lengthy post.

PS the pics don't accurately depict how badly I breakout.
