Ok so I'm 23 and I've had acne since I was 10, and pretty much always had those nasty deep blackheads in that part of the ear that most commonly gets pierced. Would they be unable to do it because of it? On the website I read they inspect your ears for cysts and they can't do it if there is any. These are not cysts but they are kind of deep.
I know you posted this awhile ago, but was curious if you ended up getting your ears pierced. I don't see why it would be an issue, I think they're more concerned about spreading infection, so won't pierce any body part which is visibly infected. Plus the piercing might make the infection worse. Who knows, maybe wearing earrings will make any marks here less noticeable.
