I would see a dermatologist right away for your cystic acne. They usually like to try antibiotics and a retinoid first, but your case is severe enough they may decide to just start you on Accutane.

If they prescribe an antibiotic, it'll likely be minocycline, which is a second-tier antibiotic and stronger than other kinds out there.

My son has been on minocycline for 2 months now, plus tretinoin cream and is doing the Acne.Org Regimen as well. This intense treatment plan has worked well to clear up his cystic acne. His skin looked pretty similar to yours back in January and he was still breaking out pretty bad until pretty recently. Now his skin is mostly cleared up and we're just dealing with red marks, and PIH, plus just preventing new breakouts. Hoping once he's off minocycline, the topicals will be enough, otherwise our next treatment option will be Accutane.

Since it's mostly concentrated on your chin and jawline, antibiotics may be enough to get your acne back under control.

did it start when you went on nexaplanon? if so I would get it removed asap. it gave me acne when i had never had it before in my life, i would not recommend it at all.
