It is winter time where I am located right now. I have a dermatologist that has prescribed me a glycolic/salicylic face wash for night time and a benzoyl peroxide wash for the day time. I wear makeup very often but I make sure that the makeup is non-comogenic. I also never switch my makeup. At night I use adapalne gel 3% after washing with the glycolic/salicylic wash and I follow up with that with the oil control cetaphil moisturizer. I had visited my dermatologist last week only to find out that she is switching up my regimen for the winter months because it seems to be too "overdrying." She recommended that I purchase the cetaphil gentle cleanser for day and night instead of the 2 washes I was originally using. She also told me to use the adapalene gel every other night instead of every night and she referred me to a different moisturizer as well called cerave pm moisturizer. This whole new routine is beginning to throw me off because I have break outs on one side of my face that will just not go away and I'm not a patient person. Could this new regimen be the cause of it? Stress? I need help!
