Dear people,

I'm 24 years old and the last 2 months I suddenly got lots of pimples and blackheads. I don't know if the pimples are causing scarring though, I think sometimes they are. I do not want to go on the benzoyl peroxide regimen, because apparently it will cause sun sensitivity which means that if you don't use sunscreen your skin will age faster because of the sun sensitivity. I hate sunscreens because they make my face oily.

Now, having said, the blackheads sometimes get pretty large and cause dents in my skin, these look permanent. Is it possible to use pore strips to prevent these developing blackheads from becoming bigger and thus causing scarring/dents? My idea behind this is that the pore strips will pull out the blackhead/gunk while it is still small and thus not letting it become bigger. That way I will have no dents/enlarged pores/scars. On the other hand, maybe the pore strips will enlarge the pores too?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
