Hello all.

I just applied some cetephil for all skin types moisturizer for the first time ever 15 minutes after BP 5% and my face feels itchy. That happened to me the first few weeks using BP, but i don't have to rinse it off because it's not as bad as BP. Here is my routine

1. Cetephil gentle cleaser (just started using)
2. BP 5% ( family doctor prescription)
3. Cetephil moisturizer (just started using)
4. Retin A micro (in the evening, family doctor prescription)

Am i doing anything wrong? Should i stop using moisturizer or my face just needs time to get used to it? Thank you

2.5% is better.
So you use BP in the morning andRetin-A Micro at night? Also, do you moisturize at night?

Many people think that a particular moisturizer burns their skin. What's probably really happens is that the application itself causes the burning. This is especially true of Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion b/c it has a thick viscosity, which makes applying difficult.

To answer your question, don't stop using moisturizer. Just try to be gentle while applying it.

Yes, that's my treatment. BP in the morning and Retin-A Micro, i don't moisturize at night because i feel like it's already too much stuff to put on my face.

So what happens if my face just keeps itching?

Well if you are using BP then you should always moisturize. It is so drying.

I retract from my last post. I now know you CAN use BP without moisturizer as long as you DO NOT use a lot. It works really well this way.
