Read this

and this

and then the following:

In every mammal cell there is function called The PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, sometimes referred to as the mTOR pathway.

The mTOR pathway is increased in patients with PCOS(1)

Blood cholesterol is controlled by The mTOR pathway (2)

Inhibition of the mTOR pathway is why the drug Metformin works in patients with diabetes (3)

Inhibition of the mTOR pathway is used in several types of cancer treatments (4)

Increased mTOR is seen in people suffering from obesity (5)

Hyper activation of The mTOR signaling pathway is thought to play an important role in Alzheimers d. (6)

Hyper activation of the mTOR signaling pathway is the cause of acne (7, 8)

The mTOR pathway is up regulated with western diet (9)

The mTOR pathway can be regulated via diet (10)

The mTOR pathway can be regulated via exercise (11)

Several types of acne medications such as Benzoyl Peroxide and isotretinoin is acting as inhibitors of the mTOR pathway in human skin cells (12)

Hormones can be altered with diet (13)

SHBG (Sex Hormone Binding Globuline) is interrelated with cholesterol (14) and therefore with mTOR

SHBG is interrelated with insulin resistance (15)

Ketogenic diets can inhibit The mTOR pathway (16)

Inhibition of the mTOR pathway increases lifespan in mammals (17)

Hi, I'm actually new to this site and I actually haven't really used it much. I just want to say that first of all your skin is not that bad. Drinking lemon water everyday in the morning and evening helps and applying it to your face. Also, applying sudocrem before sleeping ( just dab a little on with a cotton bud and leave it on overnight) or tea tree oil will help the acne too. I think you should try simple and natural methods like that to help get rid of the acne instead of using tablets or something that isn't natural. Give it a go and you might see a difference.

Dear Lady

You had sent me a pm on 27th August with regards to your case. I had responded and I supposed you had read it on the 30th. And I presume my advice didn't work which is why you are posting a new thread again!?

Appreciate your feedback.

Thanks.

I know how you feel. I'm 30 and now in hiding because of my acne :( I'm on accutane now for comedonal acne and not seeing much results. Have you been tested for pcos because i was recently diagnosed and i know that if i don't find a way to manage my hormones then the acne may come back after accutane

Do not worry about that, it is the normal things during our life. you might have eaten some spicy food, which can bring about the bad skin and the suggestion for you is that you can eat vegetable for several month.

As you may know the problem in PCOS is elevated DHT and low levels of SHBG. This can be fixed with diet. Check my posts or google 'SHBG raise diet' or something like that.

Mm.. First off, your skin is not bad at all. Every day I see people with worse than you, im just finishing my accutane myself and have worse than you. :) so try to not get so down, although I know it's hard..

I don't know how the regimen works but I imagine there will be some sort of IB? But it has fantastic reviews so keep going! Im sure accutane has also helped stop alot of acne as well.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, i really would not suggest sudocrem for actual acne. I used to do it and it just made it worse, clogging pores. My doctor also said it's one of the worst things to use on your skin, aside from on rashes

If bp is irritating your skin and causing inflammation you could try just using an antibacterial wash for awhile and see if that on its own helps at all. bp isn't the only topical to try so you could move on to something else if just the wash doesn't work. It's all a bit trial and error for everyone I think. Hang in there and just know that people around you aren't as critical of your appearance as you are.

my skin is very sensitive so i dont know if a antibacterial would be a good option for me but thank u

Being on accutane is one of the hardest things I've gone through. I've been severely depressed and am now on medication for it. I hope my acne doesn't come back after this and i hope that you find something that works for you
