Was wondering if lubriderm was non comedogenic and if I could use it as a moisturizer. I am currently using tretinoin 5% in the night and a 10% benzoyl peroxide face wash in the morning, and my skin is extremely dry and flaky. Can anybody help?

Why use a medicated face-wash? A regular nonmedicated one is all you need. Don't trust a product just b/c it claims to be noncomedogenic. Some people will break out from it; others won't. Just give it 23 weeks to see if it works for you. Are you completely clear right now?

As of right now, I am breaking out heavily on my cheeks and chin from tretinoin, but my jawline and forehead and temples have cleared up a lot. I do get acne like "under" my jaw which has never happened to me before. I feel really depressed right now as my face is a total disaster and I am so conscious about it. Also, I use the benzoyl peroxide because I think it with help out with the tretinoin breakouts, but I am thinking right now to just go on accutane -_-

Read reviews and look it up online. You can read all about the product there.

I'd use BP only. Which BP do you use?

You'll be able to tell if a moisturizer breaks you out only after you've cleared your skin. There are too many variables @ this point.

Alright, but I have already been through the initial breakout of tretinoin and just starting to see results. Also do you see any results when icing your acne? Does it help at all?

It does not specify if the product is non-comedogenic, so I am guessing it isn't

It would also be good to consider reducing your bp facewash from a 10% to a 5% or 2.5%. The 10% is harsh on your face and isnt any more beneficial than a lower percentage.

Icing reduces inflammation, so it should help to some degree. Also, just b/c a product claims to be noncomedogenic doesn't mean it is. The term is loosely regulated.

Ahah after using lubriderm I haven't really broken out so I'm gonna stick to it

Why are they the same in their effects? Shouldn't 10% be stronger?
