Tiny Bumps On Forehead?!

I have small colorless bumps on my forehead and I'm almost 100% sure that it's pityrosporum folliculitis. Can anyone confirm this? I have been on acne medicine for a long time, and I've read that that is a factor that can cause this condition. Please help! The picture is a bit hard to see, but it is visible when the brightness is up. post-478286-0-04056500-1438349899.jpg

Salicylic Acid cleanser of some sort. It won't be there for long!

I agree with the above poster! Stridex pads may be all you need. I think this is comedonal acne, not PF but hard to tell from the picture. My son used Stridex pads for two years for simple comedonal acne like you have and they worked great. :) So I'd give this a try first. If it's PF the Stridex pads won't help. PF often concentrates around the hairline, around eyebrows and nape of neck but can spread to the middle of forehead, chest, back, and shoulders. It can be mistaken for body acne. The best thing I've found for PF is Nizoral shampoo. But I'd try the Stridex pads first.

Try these pads for those comedones. They work for me and are better (I think) than stridex because they work better, more pads, cheaper.

Good luck!

This looks like a typical case of folliculitis ... I suggest getting an antibiotic (cream or oral capsule), if that isn't the route you want to go, I'd try Derma - E Antiseptic Tea Tree cream. You can order it on vitacost.com. Otherwise you can try BP or SA. But I find those all too drying.

Best of luck. I use clindamicyn when I get these kind of flesh colored bumps. Do not pop them... I am suffering from those consequences now (major hyperpigmentation)

The bumps on my forehead are also very hard and rough. Do you still think it's acne?
