Hey guys I'm 19 years old. I've had acne for the past eight years or so. Two years ago I went to my first visit to the dermatologist and I lasted a year until I was unable to go anymore due to economic issues. The time I was under Accutane was painful but it brought me satisfaction as it completely changed 76% of how I looked before. I went througt a lot and even though my peers and I thought that my acne was mild, my dermatologist said that I had severe acne.

I thank him so much. Now that I haven't gone, the only thing that really bugs me are these white heads that are all over my face and body. I don't know what to take and what to do. I plan to go to the dermatologist, but it is not a deal yet. I tried these acne products but to be honest they damaged my face. What do I do? Help!

 

2 days ago i broke out super bad. hundreds of little white heads all over my face. My derm pres. me clindamycin phosphate gel and had some left so what i did was mix that with benzoyl peroxide. So far it has dried up all of my white heads. First i would extract the white heads then i would wash my face and apply the clindamycin gel with the benzoyl.

I suggest go to your derm first... from what i've read severity of the acne doesnt really just depend on whether its cystic or not but the number of comedones (whiteheads, blackheads, pustules etc.) the derm has all the answers. I have the same problem to its seems like my pore gets repeatedly blocked but lucky for you u have a derm me i have to go to my gp for it
