About half and hour ago I was shaving my bikini line and I noticed a small black dot which Iassumed was an ingrown hair and I was going to go ahead and pop it and get it over with and on it's way to healing. Well, when I popped it, it didn't hurt AT all and I squeezed it about 3-4 times and each time a very thick, dry substance came out. After I got it all out, in the same spot, this red,mole-like thing popped up. It's red and above the skin but I can wiggle it around, but I don't wanna try to pull it off because I don't know what it is. I'm really freaked out because this has never happened before. Somebody please tell me you know what this is!!
Ok - you obviously shouldn't post a picture because it's your bikini line...but without one it would be really hard to know what it could be. Try to leave it alone and avoid shaving for a while. If it doesn't improve over the course of the week, I would see your OB/Gyn or PCP (or a derm, if you're comfortable). If it gets worse in anyway, spreads, becomes painful, etc. I wouldn't wait - head to the doc right away.
