I'm really confused about what cysts actually are. My acne is very mild, especially now when I'm on low dose Accutane. I've never had a cyst before. From time to time I get a small, "blind" pimple with no head, but it goes away quickly and doesn't hurt - it looks nothing like a cyst. But now, when my face is almost 100% clear, I've noticed a big pink spot on my cheek. It's a tiny little bit raised when you look at it from a specific angle but it doesn't look like a bump. It can pass as unnoticeable and I wouldn't even worry if it wasn't for the fact that when i touch this spot with my finger it feels like there's a small hard ball underneath the skin. Can it be an early stage of a cyst? It doesn't hurt at all but maybe cysts do not hurt at first, I don't really know, I've never had anything like this. Can someone tell me how to recognize a cyst and how to treat it? It's also weird because I've never had cysts on my face. Can it be caused by Accutane? I only take a low dose of 5 mg per day for five days in a week. It cleared up my mild acne almost totally in the first week. Maybe this spot-cyst-whatever is just a coincidence. Geez, I'm so confused, help me ((

I made a circle around the spot I'm writing about because, as I said, it's almost unnoticeable. It just looks like a little bit more pinkish area of the skin but it feels like there's something underneath. I would be glad if someone told me what it is.
