Got cortisone injections for my cysts today. Sometimes my doctor seems to put the injection a little away from the nodule rather than directly in it? Anyone else have this experience? Will the injection still work?
Yes - it should. I think the doctor sometimes does this when a cyst is very inflammed to avoid unecessary pain and bleeding, at least that has been my experience.
