Okay so I have a HUGE event tomorrow at 4pm and I have this massive zit/pimple/alien that won't pop! It's about half an inch under my lip so I literally look like I have lip injections on my bottom lip (one side only so I kinda look like a stroke victim)... NOT PRETTY. The swelling is so much and the zit is pointy enough to pop but no white head. I tried popping and even draining with a sterilized needle. Right now I have turmeric and honey on it but any other quick fix suggestions? I need it to to go down so I can apply concealer tomorrow.
I've also tried Queen Helene mint julep as spot treatment and Mario drying cream

I alwaysike to recommend this in these scenarios because it REALLY is the only thing that works quickly enough. Call a dermatologist (any one close to you) and get a cortisone shot. Insurance will typically cover it at the cost of your copay, but without insurance it's relatively cheap (my derm told me it would have cost about 70 dollars without). Tell them you have an event tomorrow, It usually only takes about 5 minutes so they will probably be able to squeeze you in today- It's very common practice. Just keep calling down the list of derms until you find someone (just make sure the person who would do the injection is a derm). The shot will flatten out the bump within about 24 hours. It won't do much for the redness - but that's what makeup is for. Don't try to pop it, it will only make the swelling worse.
If you can't do a cortisone shot, you can try topical hydrocortisone cream overnight and right before the event to reduce swelling. Also, right before the event, you can ice it down and pop an ibuprofen (also helps with swelling and inflammation a bit). The key is NOT to make it come to a head yet (that will be alot harder to hide), but to reduce the inflammation as much as possible before your event. There are also some shading techniques you can use to make the bump look smaller -there are videos for how to do it on youtube.
AGAIN - if you REALLY want the thing flat by tomorrow, get a cortisone shot today. Yes, there IS a risk of indentation, but the risk is small and if on the small chance that it does happen, the indentations are temporary. I have had numerous cortisone shots all over my face and never had problems. I did get a small indention from a big cyst that I had popped and messed with once, it filled in after about 3 months and DEFINITELY would have scarred without the shot. Good luck!
