Hey everyone ineed help identifying my problem and solving it. I have a large red cystlike/nodule/ bump on the right upper side of my cheek. the bump disappear into some sort of line in the summers and turns up in winter. There is a main one (which you can see in the pix) which is always there. If iget another spot close to it i can feel that under my skin they are connected if irun my finger over it. it feels like its under my skin more than over it and is red. It had been happening for two years and this winter when it popped up i used panoxyl (bp) which i bought online and zineryt prescribed to me by my doctor. The spot had shrunk and my skin was virtually clearless apart from the small bump there was. Eventually the bump became large and came back. My doctor is useless saying its normal for people my age. Its not normal for it to be so large and consistent. diet wise and lifestyle wise i take care of myself train kickboxing regularly drink plenty of water have like 3 fish capsules a day and eat properly apart from the occasional biscuit/sweet. Btw dont worry about the dryness its still healing from the panoxyl which didnt help that mucj other than clear the redness.Any advice would be appreciated.

I used to always get red cheeks. I still get it from time to time but my new regime has helped to make these occasions rare.

Drink green tea

Use PureChimp Super Cleanser

I also kept a diary to see what triggered my skin redness & then tried to avoid these things. (I know its a pain but once you have done it you may find a way to reduce redness in your skin for the rest of your life).

Sugar way a big trigger for me personally.

Hey i dont know if it was due to the green tea but my cyst/zit came up to the surface and ithought it got worse but then wen i got home it was leaking. I proceeded to squeeze all the pus and dirt blood out. Now its just really dry but ithink its just going to turn into dead skin and shed. Thanks alot!

Hello everyone! My name is Ali. I just wanted to share some advice and hopefully inspire anyone who reads this to not lose hope or give up on your skin.

A little over a year ago I broke out with the strangest hormonal acne. I knew it was hormonal because at the time I also stopped having my period altogether. My skin suffered the horrible consequences and I had small but painful pimples developing on my cheeks daily. It started to happen in the most random areas of my face. I had always gotten a months period pimple... But this was just a full blast of acne. Anyway, my efforts to wash it away made them worse and my skin reacted by developing cystic pimples. They were deep and under the skin... Incredibly painful. I changed my diet and I took up yoga. I refuse to consume medication to balance my body. It took more than a year, but being a vegetarian has changed my life. I no longer break out and my skin is great. I had to be consistent in analyzing the way my body reacted to different foods as certain foods would immediately break me out, but I found the proper nutrition to make my gut happy. My path of nutrition has helped me to understand how it really impacts the biggest organ on your body... Your skin. Acne is a sign of imbalance and most of it is found in what we consume. I no longer have to wash my face all the time... Sometimes I forget. My period has started to stabilize and so with that my overall health is improved. Like I said, it takes time. It isn't going to happen overnight and it takes the discipline of sticking to a good regimen of diet, exercise, and overall health to see results. Don't give up! I once went to a dermatologist and walked out knowing that they are simply there to give you product. Your body doesn't need product, it needs internal balance and no pill or cream can give you that. Until you make that change, your skin will continue to show you symptoms in the form of acne. I repeat, do not give up! You can do it. The mind will achieve whatever you decide you want to achieve, just believe in yourself. Namaste. :)

Maybe it's the fish oil. Consider dropping it from your diet as it can impact your hormones. Also try an organic yogurt, honey, turmeric, and lemon mask to help reduce the inflammation. Test on a patch or your skin before applying to your whole face to make sure you aren't allergic. Don't leave it on for more than 20 min.
