So I just found this website browsing around about how baking soda clears acne and read some conversations on here and it seems like most if you know what you are talking about , this is my first post, so I would really appreciate feedback
2 days ago I've started using baking soda and lemon paste for my acne and then applying Aloe moisturizer after, it's been good these past two days , I only wash my face at night with this .
my face is normally really oily . My acne is light on my forehead and a couple of noticeable acne on my cheeks but it's not too bad other than that , I am 15 yrs old and I've read some of you say you have messed up your face because of all the remedies you've tried in to close of a time period?
About two weeks ago my doctor prescribed me benzoyl peroxide 10% dosage . I didn't notice the difference using this I used that about 3x a day everyday for two weeks . but with my remedy I use now there's a major difference in such short amount of time .Have I moved on to fast from the benzoyl peroxide to the baking soda and lemon paste ? Will baking soda and lemon paste do me good in the long run ?
Honestly, I think if you can find a nice, cheap, AND effective treatment for your acne that's great! Keep using what works and then of course if it stops working you can always elude back to the benzoyl peroxide wash if needed (it's usually pretty effective). I would keep a close eye on your skin though, because it is possible the two week use of BP is what is clearing up your skin and you are just now seeing some results.
Also, and I'm sure you already know this but just in case, I would not wash three times a day, especially with BP, it is recommended to ONLY wash your face twice a day, no more no less. It really strips your skin, which in turn makes it over compensate for the lack of oil.
