Hi there, I have been battling acne on and off ever since I was a teen and at 24, nearly 25, its growing tiresome to say the least!
Anyway, at the moment I am on my fourth month of Lymecycline (408mg/once daily) and have been prescribed isotrex gel as well, I wash my face twice a day with Neutrogena Oil-Free face wash (the orange bottle not the grapefruit wash). I used to be on clindamycin topical in the day and Epiduo at night but found this combo started to fail me hence the new regime. I am however also applying the clindamycin during the day as well on my face.
So I'd just like your opinions on:
I have very oily skin should I be moisturising my skin as I tend to shy away from it due to how naturally greasy my skin is anyway
Is the clindamycin/isotrex combo a good one or not?
The antibiotics don't seem to be doing much; I'm still getting new acne and there is no anti-inflammatory effects occuring from what I can see.
I'll attach a couple of pictures of my forehead (bar my back a little its the only place I'm currently getting acne *touch wood*), apologies for the grossness.
I'm basically exasperated because I've tried practically every OTC medication and a whole bunch of prescribed topicals/antibiotics and I'm still getting new spots that are also leaving marks behind no matter if I pop them or don't. GARGH.

I'm not sure if you're into the hollistic approach, if not please disregard my post.
But I have found I never get pimples on my forehead unless I'm having an issue with my digestive system (such as constipation).
I would recommend trying a colon cleanse or detox. I find detox teas, combined with BP very helpful for forehead pimples.

Ugh, I am still getting new spots pop up, not every day but I can't even bring the existing ones down before new ones come up; three now on the side of my forehead and now one huge one coming up right next to the trifecta that are STILL here to the right of the centre of my forehead.
Feeling so exasperated right now who knows if this is still purging or if the isotrex just isn't working for me, not to mention the Lymecycline too. Ordered some Acnomel Acne Medication in some kind of frantic haze on the weekend where I refused to leave the house due to how bad I felt because of my acne, hoping it might do something...anything....?
