Have you tried glycolic acid..in particular acne.org's AHA+? Im currently using that and am almost 2 weeks in and I'll noticed quite a few of my blackheads clearing on my nose. Remember with anything tho, you'll have to give it a few weeks to work.

I would try Aztec Indian Healing Clay and use it a couple times a week. If that doesn't work maybe glycolic acid. Neostrata makes pretty good products. I have the Oil Free Cleanser which is 4% GA and the Level 2 Smoothing Cream which has 8%. But I would get the Aztec stuff first. It does actually pull stuff out. You can get it somewhere like a health food store.

holy shit this is awful, ive similar case to op too just on my nose and sides to it. it looks just incredibly disgusting and ugly, i cant believe there is no cure for this, please help someone? will 25% glycolic acid peel get rid of this or higher % peel is needed? tca or what? what to dooo????

I had the same thing, and no, peels don't get rid of it. Have you tried retinoids?

 

Hi, i have question, and i hope to get even one normal answer!!!

So my problem is clogged pores. I got a lot of advices and people suggest many of treatments, but i can't understand!! How any creams, laser treatments or pills can clean pores? I'm mean to pull out impurities from it?? I have tried everything, but i didn't believed in any of those treatments because i don;t undersatnt how they could help.

So my question again:

HOW ANY CREAMS, LASERS OR PILLS COULD PULL OUT IMPURITIES OUT OF PORES??

I believe these are sebaceous filaments. Pores are not meant to be gaping, open, inviting platforms for oil and bacteria. Sebaceous filaments actually help guide sebum out of the pore. You should be pleased as these can help prevent deep, angry, pus filled spots with a horrible redness.

 

Tell me, would you rather have this or red angry spots?

 

Count yourself lucky. This isn't what I'd consider spots at all, or blackheads for that matter. True blackheads look as if they were drawn on by a pen.

Pores will just reopen and become irritated when astringents are used. I think she should just leave her skin alone. Large pores will look darker. Nobody is going to be THAT close to her face, as demonstrated in the picture.

OP, post a picture of yourself? Ridiculously unrealistic closeups of non-Hollywood-esque skin is over thinking.
