Hi, I'm a teen guy. My skin is fairly clear, but I have a REALLY bad acne scab since yesterday. I mean, its HUGE. its very red(bloody looking) and the center of it is a soft filmish feeling skin. I was wondering if A. I should keep it moist or let it dry out.
And B. If I do keep it moist, would neosporin, aloe vera gel(pure) or both be best for healing it? I just want it gone by this Saturday (I have a date lol)
Thanks for the replies(:
Why is it red? Did you pull the scab off? are you dark skinned, snoopy? cuz if so, the quickest route would be to let it scab and hope the scab stays on through the date so it matches your skin tone better.
After it scabs, the scab may fall off, but thats cool cuz that means the skin is protected and will start to heal itself until its your tone again.

I'm actually a fairly white person haha. And its red because I picked at the original pimple really bad (I know I'm sorry) so do you think its better to just leave it alone without any product? Or maybe keep it gently moist.
Sorry, I dont know how lighter people's scabs will progress color wise. But I leave mine alone. I moisterized mine a few times, and it only seemed to prolong the healing. It could have also seemed longer cuz i payed more atention to it, staring it down and cursing it in the mirror.
My suggestion, leave it alone, let it harden, and then go buy some makeup to put on it. I know that sounds stupid and embarrassing (it was for me), but its worth it if it makes u feel comfy on your date. You can use ur moms makeup like i did sometimes, but if u go buy it either ask which one fits ur skin tone best, or buy it early just in case u get the wrong tone cuz i did and had to take it back.
