Hi there,

i am 15 years old and my acne started at 13.5-14 if i remember correctly.I have attached pictures of my face although i have some acne in my back.I used a product that my mom was gifted at a beauty shop and it did wonders. It was a NUXE Paris Aroma-Perfection but it lasted me 2 uses before it ran out(i think it was used before). For my acne i have used La Roche-Posay Effaclar K with Effaclar Purifying Gel.After that i used Aknicare cream with the same Effaclar Purifying Gel.It had some small results at the start but then nothing happened. Also, after i stopped using them,it also had some small results but it also stopped after some days.I started getting acne when i started getting facial hair.I shave with a gel and a 2 blade razor.I dont shave where i get acne and the gel almost never touches the acne.

Sorry but i cant get any better pictures.(iPod only)

@Alexakis99...is there a way that you could go without shaving for awhile, or maybe using an electric shaver .

Can you see a dermatologist? ,maybe The skin is trying to get rid of spread bacteria, if you noticed that the problem started after shaving, then I think it could be controlled with a topical prescribed antibiotic, and some topical benzoyl peroxide or sulfur, and doing a really light exfoliation like every week ,with a low glycolic acid.

Pay attention to the ingredients in your face cleansers foaming cleansers tend to be drying . Hydrating cleansers are more hydrating, moisturizing.

Read some posts here about other treatments and check what cleansers or treatments the members are using , also the shaving forum might give you some insight.

Best wishes.

Do you also break out on your forehead, or is that part of your face acne free?

Hey,

Definitely worth going to see a dermatologist, if you haven't already. Also, as said above, the shaving definitely won't be helping - try and limit that or maybe just let it grow out
